Hooe Lake Campsite is part of the Mount Edgcumbe estate, in Southeast Cornwall. Located halfway between Kingsand and Fort Picklecombe, Hooe Lake is a Greenfield site which boast spectacular views over Plymouth Sound and easy access to the coast path.

Facilities

Hooe lake is a Green Field, but it is equipped with two taps, a cesspit for effluent and a camp fire circle (Portaloo’s can be arranged with the camp warden advance).

Activities

The campsite is ideal for fire lighting, backwoods cooking, hiking and scavenger hunts. You can also undertake environmental studies and historical interest within the Estate. The beaches of Kingsand and Cawsand within walking distance where you can also get the ferry to the Barbican in Plymouth.

Fees

£1 per person per night for groups in East Cornwall, £2 per person per night for groups outside of East Cornwall.
